Scandinavian Interior

Scandinavian Interior Inspiration

Today's blog post i going to be about Scandinavian Interior, because that's where i get a lot of inspiration from.  I'm getting a new room in December, or in the start 2016 (I'll of course do a room tour). My new room is going to be in the Scandinavian style, and I'm SOOO exited about it(!!!) So this is also going to be some things I'm going to include, or not the exact same things, but some in the same style.
First of all i want to say sorry for incredibly poor quality, but if you wan't to see the exact same picture you can just click right here, and it will take you to the picture on my polyvore <3
1. Lets just start out with the black and white pictures, I love that they're so simple, but still gives a lot to the room. I want about 3-4 B&W pictures with quotes. All of these pictures are from Etsy.
2. The next thing is the pillow, i want some pillows like this one, but also some more rough ones. In the Scandinavian interior it's often about layering, and doing it with both some more soft and rough/rustic things. You can get the pillow here. Ikea does have some more cheap options, but keep in mind that they're pillowcases, and not pillows, the first one is sheepskin, and should be really durable and the second one fake fur, but the cheapest one
3. The light 'T'. I wan't one of these one time, so i put it in here. They add a cute personal touch to the room. You can buy this one here, but eventually search for some cheaper ones.
4. The cobber lamp. I'm obsessed with cobber, and I've already got some cobber things for the room. So i feel like i needed to put some cobber in this collage. I love this lamp, and my parents have got one that looks like it just in white, they don't use it, so I think I'm going to borrow that one. You can buy this beautiful lamp here, this was the only place i could find it where it wasn't a danish place. But eventually search more around, and find a cheaper one.
5. Staying in the copper theme, we've got to take a look at the copper tray. I actually have a copper tray, so i thought i was very appropriate to put it in here. You can buy the tray here, this again is a danish site so I'm not sure if you can order from there. But i found this one as a alternative, also amazon have a lot of beautiful ones, in different shapes and sizes as well :).
6. Next we're taking a look at the rugs. Again it's fur, or animal related. They add some coziness to the room. You can buy the zebra one here, and the sheepskin one here
7. The chair is one of my faves. I have one that looks kind of like this one, or it has the same kind of vibe to it. You can buy the chair here, but i would recommend going to flea markets or asking your parents or grandparents if they have a chair like this, that they don't use.
8. The next thing is the table made of pallets. It's not quite the same as the idea i have en my head, as in the picture. I'm thinking that I'm going to take a pallet and put some wheels underneath, and maybe a glass plate on top. This would give a really cool rustic look. You can get the table on the picture here
9. Again, pallets. My bed is going to be made out of pallets, I've wanted this for a long time (years actually). So I'm very excited about this. Again it gives a nice rustic look. I'm planning on putting fairy lights underneath the bed, it looks so amazing and cozy!

Thank you so much for reading. Hope you liked it!
Love, Thea xx
